Ventura Gun Club is oldest continuously operated gun club in Iowa. In 1947 we started with 30 Charter Members, today we boast over 325 active members. The Ventura Gun Club offers recreation for the shotgun sports enthusiast in the form of trap, skeet and 5-Stand. The water had a white crust of seagulls floating on it, telling us something was up. A massive stainless steel fishing trawler, lay at the end of the fish dock, canted over on her port side. Seagulls wheeled and mewed and gabbled at one another. Next to the conveyor were massive four foot orange cube-shaped plasti.
